About Hannah Brennan and the small-business voice behind every review on the site.
Brew Coffee Works is a one-person review of call tracking software for small local-business owners. The audience is the kind of owner I work with every week: someone who has a marketing budget that fits in three figures, a phone that rings during the day, and a website with one or two ways to get in touch. The picks here reflect that audience first.
The first cafe owner I helped run a Google Ads campaign called me a month later asking how she could tell which ad worked. We hadn't set up any tracking. The honest answer was that we couldn't, and I felt bad about it. I spent the next year figuring out the call tracking software market well enough to give clients a real answer. This site is the version of that answer I'd hand to a friend over coffee.
I write the way I talk. First-person. Plain language. Examples from real client work, with details changed to protect privacy. I try not to use marketing jargon, and when I do (attribution, dynamic number insertion, IVR), I explain it the first time.
Reader-supported. When a reader signs up for a tool through one of the links here, the vendor sometimes pays a small referral commission. That commission does not change the rankings. The scoring rubric lives on the methodology page and applies the same way to every tool, including the top pick.
I'm an independent reviewer. The site is not owned by, employed by, or affiliated with any of the products covered. The relationship is the standard affiliate-link one, nothing more.
For corrections, vendor updates, or questions about the rubric, the contact page has the email. For something specific to your shop, send a note. I read every email and answer when I can.
